Connoisseur Media organized a Dance-A-Thon at the South Shore Mall to raise money for families at RMHC New York Metro!

“It’s a good thing we brought our tap shoes!” said Anna Zap from the Anna and Raven show. And we are so glad they did. Because of their amazing commitment, dedication, and willingness to give from their hearts, our operations can help families stay close to their child-in-need during very trying times.

Connoisseur Media organized a Dance-A-Thon at the South Shore Mall on Saturday, May 19, 2024. The dancers who put their feet to work were from Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Dancers from MJ’s House of Dance in Lindenhurst, NY; M & T Dance Unlimited of Seaford, NY; Royal Dance Center of Babylon; Gone Dancing from Oyster Bay; and Create Dance of Massapequa to name a few, all came together and raised over $15,000!

“We are amazed and so grateful at the showing of support from Connoisseur Media and these fifteen local dance schools. This will go an extremely long way as we serve thousands of families with sick children every year from our Ronald McDonald House in New Hyde Park to the two-Family Rooms in Suffolk County,” said Matt Campo, CEO of RMHC NYM.

It’s because of compassionate individuals and groups like this that we can continue to provide essential services and support to strengthen families by being their home away from home so they can focus on taking care of their sick child.
